Josh graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Law and Society.He
served on the staff of Indiana Congressman Dan Burton in Indianapolis
in a research and public liaison capacity, and then spent two years in
Washington, DC as the Deputy Chief Clerk for the United States Congress
Committee on Government Reform.In that role he
established relationships with Congressmen from both parties and their
staffs, conducted research on topics under the committee’s
consideration, and served as Editor of the Historical Record.
After
returning to Indianapolis, Josh was Chief Development Officer for the
Greater Indianapolis Republican Finance Committee where he honed his
public speaking and fundraising skills.Later, as
Political and Public Relations Director for an unconventional
Congressional campaign, he developed strategies, policy messages, and
campaign literature, and managed a wide variety of media exposure and
public events.
Most recently, Josh worked for the
private consulting firm, Stakeholder Incorporated, where he continued
his liaison with state and federal legislators by lobbying for one of
their national clients, developed and implemented campaign strategies
for state legislative candidates, and devised a concept for
neighborhood-level grass roots outreach for a municipal client.
Catherine H. Gillespie, Vice President
Upon graduating cum laude
from Princeton University, Catherine worked as a strategic and tactical
analyst for the federal government on national security issues.In
the course of her five year tenure with the government, which built
upon her previous work in a four year fellowship/internship program
with the same federal agency, Catherine became proficient in research,
analysis, and written and oral communication on every level from
employees in the field to the Oval Office, Cabinet, and federal
policymakers.
Catherine’s
written analysis was frequently presented to the President of the
United States and his Cabinet, and her expertise was regularly called
upon in interagency efforts to develop strategies and written products
and policies.
In
support of particular policy objectives and complex situations in
national security, Catherine developed and implemented strategies,
provided in-depth context based on extensive research, and performed
comprehensive analysis of both national and international scope.
